Who's going?

I'm sure there will be a heap of people from WTAWorld going... I'm one of them.

I know AliciaRocks is, and Dan23, Rohin...

Re: Who's going?

I'm coming over for the last 2 days of qualies and the first 2 rounds of the main draw. Making the trip back across the tasman if Maria makes the final though Can't wait for January already!

LOTS of sunscreen, a hat... lots of water. Are you staying somewhere with a fridge? If so, then bring your own lunch, as it costs a shitload at the tennis. It's like $4-$5 for a bottle of coke or a powerade... dunno how much sandwiches would be - I don't pay for them coz they are too expensive.

If you bring your own lunch and stuff to the tennis, then you shouldn't really need that much spending money...ground passes are $29 for the first week - dunno if you have tickets or not. But if you want merchandise, then you'll need more money of course. But you could probably get away with spending $10 a day at the tennis IF you take your own food and drink...if not, then you'll need at least $30 a day I'd say...(mostly for drinks). Oh, plus it depends how much (if any) alcohol you intend to drink. Heineken's at least $5 a glass.

Re: Who's going?

food and drink there is incredible expensive. Defiantely bringing my own drinks this year because some days can be really hot. As DutchieGirl said, unless you're going to buy merchandise and bring your own foor and drink, you won't need that much.

Depends when you want to get in. I think that gates open at 9am (could possibly be 10 now?) and play usually starts on centre and 11am, but on the outsides it used to start at 10am...not sure if it'll be the same this year. But it's not like you'lll have to line up for very long to get in.
