Are there two....................

Are there two players called Clarisa Fernandez?
On the website for the Madrid tournament, in the 'players section', it said Clarisa Fernandez twice, but they had slightly different spellings.
Clarisa Fernandez
Clarissa Fernandez. (Also the one spelt with 2 's' had a little '/' over the 'a' in Fernandez.
On the website it said one of them is from Argentina and one is from Spain.
Is this just a mistake by the website?

Hi Cassius

Good to see you here!

There's only one Clarisa Fernandez, with only one S! And she's from Mexico

All the best to Anastasia Myskina, Elena Bovina and Svetlana Kuznetsova!
Watch out: Myriam Casanova, Maria Kirilenko and Maria Sharapova!

Clarisa Fernandez is from Argentina, I meet her ones and she is a very good friend of my best friend who also is a tennis player.
Clarisa was born in Cordoba, Argentina.

Jess is right, Clarisa Fernandez is from Argentina. She is ranked n#98 this week and probably will jump to n#90 next monday.

She was born in Cordoba, also reached 3rd round in Charleston. She won the doubles match with Pitu Salerni this last Fed Cup.
She is an all court player, but she says she prefer to play on hardcoouts. Her serve is really impressive.

So, there is only ONE Clarisa Fernandez, and she is from Argentina. Probably CB confused with Jessica Fernandez who is from Mexico

Bye, and good luck Clarisa on RG
