We are a nation with a flair for drama. I didn't see his match (or roll ), but Nenad ''Completely Useless in DC'' Zimonjic and Ilija bloody Bozoljac beating the Bryans totally made my day.

It wasn't pretty but he'd do anything for Serbia

Querrey is an embarrassment. Bagel & breadstick against an injured player

Querrey is idiot. And mug. And player with no talent at all. Even Lorenzi is more watchable than Sam.

I don't know how he can be in TOP20.

He cried yesterday. He said that his foot is not well at all but his country inspires him to play...

Re: Tennis Muttering Thread - vol2

(Kind of random from me to join in, sorry)

I watched the match yesterday and it was so painful I thought after he lost the second that he would retire, but (Troicki would have been able to beat Isner imo). Also he was happy when they won the tie but his face was somewhat blank, god knows what was going through his head and that interview^, almost made me cry and I'm not even Serbian. Hope he recovers in time for Rome/Madrid

Re: Tennis Muttering Thread - vol2

Agree about the awesomness of the win over Bryan brothers. Ilija was on fire!

Also, can't help but notice how the USA fell into their own trap. I feel like they would have more chance on some sort of a shitty clay court (like Belgium in R1). True, they have great servers, but Isner and Querrey are very bad returners, while Novak is the best in the world in that department and would surely find a way to break at least once per set... You just look at the aces stats: USA: 53 SRB: 70 No point to go to Boise, Idaho for that

The tie with Canada should be interesting, Raonić, Nestor and Dancević playing
(this article has more info. http://www.rts.rs/page/sport/sr/stor...+ozbiljna.html )

Oh, that's sad. Though he knew the risk he was taking by continuing...Hopefully it will not be too bad. This time of year isn't good for him. Isn't it around this time last year that his Grandad passed away?

Probably serve keeping him in alone. US men's tennis is in such poor shape
