^ No.

But Jelena is able to lose to any random player in draw, so I don't see any reason why we should think only about Venus.

Guys can you tell me which players (not the names, the seeds) JJ can meet in the 3rd round, in the 4th, and in QF please? Will she play against unsedeed players in the first two rounds right?

She will definitely play against unseeded players in the first 2 rounds (assuming she wins her 1st match )

I'm not sure how to figure out which seeds play which. Can someone explain to us how to figure it out?

Despite not making many winners, she's still an agressive baseliner, and she doesn't only win matches by waiting the opponent's mistake, though she can do that at times also.

I think it works like that her projected R3 she will play a seed from 17-24, in R4 9-12.

later on everyone is an option, I would want for her to draw Li in the qf and serenity in the eventual sf.

her projected oponent in R4 would be a seed ranked from 9 - 16... not 9-12.

Gotta love the Serbian girls: JJ Ana Bojana (, Dokic, Petkovic, Mladenovic, Krunic SELES)

^ It's possible your right . I'm following Ben Rothenberg on Twitter and he stayted that Sloane by losing her Brisbane points will lose her 12th seed position and get a harder draw. I assume he ment drawing a Top 4 in R4.

Re: Jelena Jankovic Cheering Thread - 2013 Season - Volume 16

3rd round v. 25-32
4th round v. 9-12
QF v. 1-4

I think it should be something like this.

Edit: I checked it in Excel. In 3rd round she plays with 25-32 and in 4th round she plays with seed from 9-12.

^ Hlavackova has to 3 matches in qualifications first

And 2nd Andrea should be useless against someone who is able to push all balls back.

Re: Jelena Jankovic Cheering Thread - 2013 Season - Volume 16

I'm going to the AO on Monday, so I hope JJ's side of the draw plays first. I also hope she draws Stosur in her section.

The tournament director Craig Tilley confirmed that the Australian Open will be the speed of Brisbane

Doubles Specialist Јеlena Jankovic
Crowd Favourite Victoria Azarenka
Former Tennis Player Petra Kvitová

Seems like Kerber's going to pass JJ in the ranking. Unless WimbledonGOAT pulls the upset

Give back 2011 Cincinatti to JJ
