I honestly can't see her still playing in 2016.

I agree, since she is going to win RG 2013 and RG 2014 , i think she is going to retire in 2015 at the very same tournament

Logical step, but I hope she wins a proper slam as well in the meantime.

I can see her still playing in 2016. Who would retire being the best player in world? I know, Justine... But Henin was one of the most hated player in both tours, when Jelena is lovely, crowd loves her and she loves the crowd.

And it seems her BFF Serena is going to play till Olympic Games 2020 so it would be weird if Jelena retires before Rio.

I'm afraid Serena might change her mind and opt for an early retirement after Jelena turns over their H2H to 12-6 in her favour.

True, we can't go around and act like VIP has an actual slam. It'd be degrading to the name of a slam champ

I'm being realistic here JJ, win a match in every tourney you enter this clay season.

But Marbella isn't around anymore... Maybe Dallas?

At least she won Bogota then. Still upset that she didn't enter the Katowice superslam

It's not realistic.

I hope she will reach at least 1/8 in every tournament she enters.

Katowice superslam is like shit. No one wants to play there. No one wants to be there. And Katowice is not the most popular city in Poland. And I guess Jelena is not interested in watching coal mines, ironworks, dirty buildings and other hovels.
