Johny is the first player in draw who has chance to beat Fakerer. Even if probability of winning this match by him is less than 1%.

I really don't know what to think but that men's draw looks EXTREMELY fishy...
Is it possible that Federer brings so much money to so many people/companies that even draws can be rigged in his favour?

There were those studies that Lolex mentioned. And Novak almost always gets a more difficult opponent in the SF. For example, Nadal on RG 4 years in a row, Federer on USO 4 years in a row, this year was the 5th time in a row that Novak got Roger in his half of the draw, although they finally played on grass this season. In 2008 Safin def. Novak, so he played the SF against Fed, in 2009 it was probably Haas, in 2010 Berdych def. Federer and played Novak in the SF, last year there was Tsonga.

The chances are 50-50, but to be SOOOO unlucky to draw Federer on grass or Nadal on clay every single time. It can't be possible.

Re: Tennis Muttering Thread - vol2

Lots of people make huge amounts of money thanks to Federer's popularity. I'm sure they want him to play as long as he can. And I really believe it is about him feeling comfortable with the draws and being encouraged to compete on the tour.

It doesn't even sound like a conspiracy theory. It's just HIGHLY possible that the draws are rigged.

I agree. After all, it's a business. They want Nadal and Federer to play the finals. Now that Nadal isn't here, they want Murray and Fed. So, the best thing is to give Nole the worst possible draw, so that he could lose before the SF.

We should give Copenhagen some credit. At least they try to mix up the draw so it doesn't looked rigged by putting NiculescuGOAT in Karolina's half.
