Arsenal vs City today 3pts, please. The referee (Mike Dean) is notorious for always screwing Arsenal I have my excuses for a loss ready.

Utd vs Liverpool

Re: The JJ Forum Random Muttering Thread - Totally Off Topic! episode 4.

We should have won, but a point will do. Still unbeaten Jenkinson & Mertesacker have improved so much Per is actually adorable As for Gervinho The fact that he lasted 90 mins is baffling. 2 steps forward, 25 steps back

As for Utd Even with ten men Liverpool were superior, yet they win again playing like crap

Per

Disgusting man. The day he retires for good will be a great day for football.

Although I dislike him, I actually think he's got a point in this case.

How so? Because he was cleared by the courts?

Partly, and IMO given that there was a decision made by the CPS, this FA ruling is unnecessary as I'd imagine a similar conclusion will be reached in this tribunal as well.

However, the FA has also cocked this up big time. JT was acquitted over two months ago and only now is the hearing starting. This could have been sorted out almost as soon as the court verdict was given but they'd drawn this out which shows that this isn't about getting justice/closure over the allegations but more about settling some petty dispute between a national organisation and a footballer who isn't wanted any more. Like I said, I don't like Terry and I've always thought he was overrated, but I don't blame him for leaving or calling out the FA like he did.

I don't follow golf, but I noticed that people talk a lot about Rory. Is he a real deal?

He is brilliant. One of my favourite sportspeople. He has the potential to be one of the GOATs of the game of golf. He has achieved 2 majors at the age of 23, humiliating the rest of the field by 8 shots each time. He can play shots that none of the other golfers can even dream of. I used to think golf was one of the most boring sports ever (along with lawn bowls & cricket ), but I always watched the majors just out of habit with no real investment in any golfer.

Then I watched The Masters 2011 & watched Rory play, and he was amazing, & I thought what a talent He was cruising into the final day to win his first major & then suffered one of the biggest meltdowns in the history of golf losing a 4 shot lead to finish 15th. It was awful to see a young kid choke like that Since then I have been a fan & in the next major three months later he rebounded to win by a huge margin & I have so much respect for him for that Not many people can come back stronger after that kind of choke.

He is now #1 in the world & won on the PGA tour four times this year & is a lock for player of the year. He is very amiable, & has a really great personality, excellent for the traditionally stuffy game of golf. I was never a fan of Tiger Woods in his prime, he always came across as rude & obnoxious to me. Rory is a much more relatable champion. Tiger is his idol & they have become really good friend, the cynic in me says Tiger is leeching onto Rory to rehab his image but their bromance is kind of cute even I have to admit.

Rory nearly missed the last day of the Ryder Cup because he got his time ones mixed up He arrived 11 minutes before his tee time If he had been late five minutes after his tee off time he would have been disqualified & with how the scores went Europe would have lost by a point It's the second time this has happened. He overslept for the final round of US Open & arrived 30 mins before, but still won by eight

Sorry for the long post, but I love taking about Rory

How can you people watch a sport like golf? My dad is spending his retirement days watching a golf channel, I tried watching several times, but it was more boring than a Wozniacki-Niculescu match.
Also, a proleterian in me is terribly upset about the players having people to carry their bags for them. Who do they think they are?? Is their name Jankovic??

I need to come to Serbia for a holiday, and I can watch the golf channel with your Dad

I think it's interesting to me as it's as much, if not more so about mental strength rather than physical. If you haven't got it mentally, then it's all over No way would I have the patience to play golf, tbh. I'd be too frustrated :bomb: The Ryder Cup 2012 was one of the greatest sporting comebacks in history. Even my Mum, who, like you, thinks golf is supremely boring, was texting me back & forth about the Ryder Cup last night But I can understand why people find it dull. I used to be one of those people
