janki - first are you gay? and are you open in india or is there a lot of stigma? where you be getting your loving
Yes I am and i don't hide that...even my office people know that and they barely react to it - I mean they make fun of me most of the times but it is just for laughs, I don't mind. In fact, I engage in their talks to make it more humorous
India's condition with people like me is horrible, plain horrible but since I am in Delhi, so I have the priviledge to love in a more liberal place but in outskirts people are just ready to send every gay to jail
domestic violence is a huge issue here, gender roles are strict, women are supposed to do all houseworks, take care of kids, work, look good, forgive the infidelity because it's in men's nature. there are stereotypes about women as well. if you decide to keep your family name when you get married, people will think you're a crazy feminist. if you want to get a job, make sure you don't get pregnant because it can get you fired.
I like thrillers, drama also lighthearted but please no sci-fi
omg so sorry i totally forgot about this :/ Have you watched Shutter Island? Starring Leo DiCaprio. It's a psychological thriller kind of movie, with a twist at the end. My favorite feel-good movie is probably The Proposal. also Perks of Being a Wallflower Sorry, my taste in movies is kind of blah
in other news, i got tickets to the beyonce show!!! woohoo
