Re: Magda Linette

^^
If she can't win such match, why would she play bigger tournament.
However it seems it's her last 25k in a while. As she's not on the entry list of any ITF tournament in Europe in following weeks.

Maka is NOT a pusher
I saw her in Linz last fall and she really can hit great FH and BH with much power...only her serve is weak...
But looks like Fed-Cup-Linette couldn't handle her..

Re: Magda Linette

In November 2009 I saw Maka in Opole and she was an ultimate pusher and struggled against (then unranked) Sobaszkiewicz. :]
But I don't really care about this result... it seems that all in Fed Cup will depend on Ula's spine...

Re: Magda Linette

No, they won't Adrian, you're almost always wrong
Magda's opponents - Tsvetana Pironkova, Shahar Peer, Mandy Minella
Do you think she has a chance to win a set?

BTW, Magda's next tournament after Fed Cup is 25k on clay in Mallorca.

Re: Magda Linette

Bad news for Adrian: Magda will be the No. 2 of the team as Agnieszka will replace Ula and therefore Magda might win some matches after all

Re: Magda Linette

Yeah, I'm not against Magda
But that's just unrealistic seeing her winning against Pironkova or other better players from Top 100

But anyway, it still will be difficult for her

Re: Magda Linette

Kremer, Glushko and Kostova will be her opponents.
She should at least fight, those players are definitely within her reach.

Yep, but we will see from Wednesday on...

and seeing her still playing 25k ITF is really strange
Even Marta tries to play q in Paris

Re: Magda Linette

I'd rather watch her play against those top 100 players, even if she would lose those matches, but good luck anyway!

Re: Magda Linette

25k in Mallorca is on the week after Paris.
Magda cannot play Paris quallies as Fed Cup finishes on Saturday.
Then there are no bigger tournaments in Europe between Paris and Monzon 50k in late March.
She won't play anywhere outside Europe this year I guess. (maybe US Open only)

But why not travel to south america and play there the clay tournaments, which def. would suit her more than hardcourt tournaments here in europe

Re: Magda Linette

Exams are just 3 months away and it would be insane of her to travel to middle of nowhere right before them. She'll probably travel around a bit more after May

Re: Magda Linette

oh, I have exams in 2 months but if I had the chance to play WTA MD or seeded in Q for them, I def. would go for it. I mean, she can learn there as well, it's not like she is playing 12 hours per day. So no excuse for me
