Re: Paula Kania thread

What a week for Paula
Beat Kasia Piter 6:4 6:4 in the final after a solid match.
Both singles and doubles won.

Now it's time for bigger tournaments (after a week of rest and trainings home):

100k Olomouc, Czech Republic (red clay)
100k Astana, Kazakhstan (hard)

I like the way she shares everything with fans. You can rarely find such nice fanpages. Seems such a cheerful girl.

Still doesn't have a sponsor She says that Magda recently has been to Switzerland to watch trainings of Federer and Kasia can afford easily to go South America, even with brother. Both have decent sponsor, she doesn't.

Good, she gets slowly media attention in Poland.

Now, poor Paula even doesn't have a coach as her previous one wanted to sign 5-year contract with him and there were some fines included and she didn't want to make the same mistake as Marta Domachowska did with a sponsor.

Re: Paula Kania thread

loss to top130 Zanevska 6:7 2:6. No shame, now Astana 100k. She has SF points to defend.

Re: Paula Kania thread

Well she isn't on the list in both Izmir & Shouzou so I guess she will have a free week after Donetsk.

Re: Paula Kania thread

Her quarter in Astana 100k:

(7)Tamarine Tanasugarn (THA) v Yuliya Beygelzimer (UKR)
Nadiya Kichenok (UKR) v (wc)Anastasiya Yepisheva (KAZ)
Margarita Gasparyan (RUS) v Paula Kania (POL)
(4)Alexandra Panova (RUS) v (wc)Asiya Dair (KAZ)

It's gonna be difficult to defend SF points with players like Panova, Tanasugarn or Kichenok in the draw...

Re: Paula Kania thread

Big shame, but I guess super big hitter Gasparyan just found her tournament to peak and will get to SF at least.

GL in doubles now.

Re: Paula Kania thread

Bitch please, she doesn't even have a coach because of financial reasons. How is she supposed to get prepared for hardcourt season?
