Re: Paula Kania thread

Don't twist the knife
I would have wanted to, really, but I'm at the end of my 1st year of Master's degree and I just have no time to go at the French Open this year... But I'll try to send her all my positive energy

Re: Paula Kania thread

Paula's first doubles title with Magda Linette in 25k Maribor.
Beat Auroux/Irigoyen 6:3 6:0 in the final

Beat also Nastja Kolar today: 6:3 6:4
Tomorrow another good experience for her as she'll play Polona Hercog, former top40 in QF

Re: Paula Kania thread

What a scoreline, I thought this final would have been much more tight.
Well done, girls

Re: Paula Kania thread

Now Paula must win doubles with Sandra in her next tournament (25k Padova) and she'll win a title with all Polish girls from top500, except Jegiołka but they just don't get along I think.

You forget Domachowska and Zagorska, Paula has never won any title with them

Re: Paula Kania thread

Marta is hardly a journeywoman, she's the opposite actually by withdrawing from 95% of the tournaments she enters and where she could have great chances to get some easy wins

Re: Paula Kania thread

There's nothing like "easy" points for Marta since she cannot even eat Burger

OK, never mind. It's not Marta's thread.

BTW, Paula and Irina received a w/o to the doubles final in which they'll play against Dinu/Zec-Peskiric or Grymalska/Rosatello.

Re: Paula Kania thread

I have a news that she was seen on RG quallies, watched Kania's match. Maybe she comes to Wimbledon with JJ too. If she's lucky enough and someone withdraws in the last moment, she'll play.

Btw, I was watching 25k Toruń's press conference and they said that all Polish players besides Radwanska sisters will play so I guess Marta too.
