Re: Kasia Piter

As for her first tournament on a Hard Courts after Clay season, reaching Singles and Doubles finals, looks very promising befor the US Open qualies. If she'll only get a decent draw I can see her making a debut in GS Main Draw.

But first comes first. Kasia has to get even with Ana Vrljic after two losses to her earlier this year.

Re: Kasia Piter

Great win for Kasia in the first round of USO qualies against Vrljic - a player she struggled in the past, including 1-6 3-6 loss lately in Izmir. Had two match points to finish it 6-4 6-4 but got broken and immediately lost a set 5-7. Eventually had all the answers in the third excluding one little moment when she got broken at 4*-1. Finally won 6-4 5-7 6-2.

Kurumi Nara next, #7 seed, but it's been already a good showing in her first ever Grand Slam appearance, I didn't expect her to pass Vrljic, so well done already and try your best on Thursday.

Re: Kasia Piter

Would appreciate if you could record Katarzyna and/or Paula cuz I've never seen them play on other surface than clay.
Thnx in advance.

Re: Kasia Piter

was there until the rain delay...i guess she still wasnt that fit...she was breathing hardly after a longer rally...Nara played pretty good and consistent...would have been nice to see, what would have happened, if there wasnt the rain...she was up 3:1 or 4:1?? in the second...
