Re: Kasia Piter

I guess, good for her. She planned to play more clay tournaments. Now that she got to top200 and will play US Open quallies, no reason to play them. I guess she'll just play one hardcourt tournament before US Open: 50k in Kazan or 25k in Westende-Middelkerke.

Re: Kasia Piter

I guess Kasia's first WTA title allowed her to have a little biography on her WTA profile At least I hadn't noticed she had one before.

Coached by brother, Jakub; also works with father, Dariusz; mother is Renata <3 ... Started playing at age 5 when introduced to sport by father ... Favorite shot is forehand, favorite surface is grass and favorite tournament is Acapulco ... Favorite player is Nadal (for his personality and how he acts on and off the court) ... Enjoys dancing, listening to music (favorite singer is Birdy and favorite song is Take Care by Drake), going out with friends (especially in Poznan), shopping, extreme sports and watching movies (favorite actor is Russell Crowe and favorite movie is Gladiator) ... Also likes ice cream ... Goal is Top 10.

Re: Kasia Piter

It has nothing with her WTA title they write biography if a player in TOP 100, but Kasia is exception her facebook profil https://www.facebook.com/pages/Katar...51907681509258

Re: Kasia Piter

Last 3 years were so tough for her. Afterall her mother died a year ago, so how could she focus on tennis. Now that all she made it mentally, she can compete in tennis.

Re: Kasia Piter

Another great showing from Kasia this year. Following the first two good wins in Izmir 25k with Melis Sezer and Erika Takao (both in three sets, so she struggled a bit) she advanced to the semis today with a very good win over Cagla Buyukakcay. Eventually she has a very good chance for the final, as she will play either Chiaki Okadue or Polina Leykina in the semis.

Re: Kasia Piter

She should reach the final there, although all her matches were three-setters...

Re: Kasia Piter

Another three set victory in the semis, this time against Chiaki Okadue. Ana Vrljic awaits in the final. The question is what Kasia has left in her tank.
