I wouldn't. But as time showed, it only proves how irrelevant the juniors are.

Re: Kasia Piter

It's only because Petra started to treat tennis professionally at 16 years old (2006 year). Before tennis was just a hobby for her and didn't even play tournaments.

ps. That year in 2007 Petra only play Roehampton and Wimbledon outside Czech Republic. And was 16-2 in juniors that year (lost only to Kasia and Kleybanova ) but played only 4 tournaments.

Re: Kasia Piter

Maybe she is facing some personal problems currently, as she surprisingly lost some matches she should have won pretty easily... She entered only $100k tournaments, as "Main draw only" (MDO), and it could be because she doesn't want to play right now except if she has a real chance to enter directly some big tournaments.
These are only assumptions

Kasia always plays 21&U Champs of Poland in her hometown Poznań but this time she doesn't. Something's not right.

Re: Kasia Piter

TBE is TheBoiledEgg, one of TF most valued posters.

He's keeping the ranking up-to-date according to the WTA official rules, by adding the points gained at current tournaments, thus projecting the ranking as they will be when the WTA releases them the next Monday.

You can find his thread here:
WTA Ranks Update Thread

The ranking is based on a 52-weeks period. Points scored 51 weeks ago will come off the next week, so you can tell who is going to lose how many points at a given time.
Kasia for instance, scored 60 points in Warsaw in May 2010 and 50 in Koksijde in August 2010. They came off in the same period in 2011. Pszczelny was referring to these points when he posted his message in April.

Re: Kasia Piter

YW.

The ranking system is much more complicated as I've said, but the above generally applies to players below 150. There are for instance the 16 best tournaments rule, rules concerning top 10 and top 20 players, mandatory tournamnets etc. etc.
(There is a reason why the WTA rulebook contains 482 pages...)
