Despite of being officially retired I want to help my country one more time to claim this trophy we only fell short of last year. Our team is really solid and espacially in FedCup we mostly had some outstanding performances by one or two team members that led our squad into the victory. Friends and opponents Gret Britain have a solid team as well, but we hope that our home right will be the deciding factor here. Close victory for Germany predicted.

Probably the toughest of the 4 ties to pick, Germany are such a tight knit grouped and reached the semis last year so are more experienced perhaps, recent form of both nations on the grass wasn't particularly eyecatching, so it's really a toss of the coin I reckon.

i think the german-style of picking, especially that of rffnpumps suits the style of play in the 1/4 best than any other team.
with only 8 picks, andrews style lacks the sting that matthias and gang can bring out on the day.
it's like mary pierce against likhovtseva at RG i guess

if you have nothing important to say, please do so in non-tennis forum. if you have something you think is important, but is actually rubbish regarding anything other than tennis - please do so in the non-tennis forum. if you have something tennis related to say, but it's actually "OMG, X player is so h0t!1" or "who has the biggest boobs on the wtatour" please do so in menstennisforum, under "wta forum". if you have something important, tennis-related and interesting to say please do so. No one in the world can understand how much tennis means to someone, except another fan.

This is a very open tie - Germany want to make up for being beaten at the semi-final stage last year, while Great Britain are bidding for the international double (Hopman Cup + Fed Cup).

I give Great Britain the edge though
