RG Champion says good-bye at the end of the season

Hi PAW m8's,
I decided to retire at the end of the season. I will play my remaining schedule (maybe YEC, but I wont make it I guess) and I enjoyed the time with all of you and I explanied my reasons to the GER PAW mates and I hope they will understand.
Winning RG was a memorable achievement and I really enjoyed the time after it although I am guilty for not clinching a YEC spot myself earlier and now I most probably wont make it. I played way to less events between Birmingham and San Diego. I still enjoyed it with you and well, I hope you will not mind if I make a short visit to some player forum's in the future.
Good luck in the future to my mates and the Germans (esp. in their FedCup-capaign). My good friend Carsten will also stop playing as he told me. So bye-bye and have a good time!

Sascha

I read your full explanation in the PAW Germany thread and I think you've made a valid choice. It can be hard to cheer on players you don't like or like less just because of PAW. I felt bad cheering on Patty yesterday against Suarez, but was thrilled when she won for PAW reasons. At least you had a Grand Slam title and it's always better to stop at your peak. Hope you qualify for YEC (aren't Grand Slam Champions direct entries?). Good luck outside PAW and to your German PAW friends for losing a valuable team mate. I trust you will still be around on the rest of the board and maybe even the PAW forum occasionally?

No, I just spoke about PAW.

If you still want to partner me, I will play CAD in 2005. I do not care about Doubles so much and who wins and who doesnt.... So I will play this!!
