Lightbulb PAW Olympics 2004 - The Torch Passing Thread

Welcome PAW players from all over the world

This is the PAW Torch Passing Thread.

Those of you who committed to Torch passing and are still playing in the Olympics (some have withdrawn) have a task to receive and pass the PAW Olympic Torch on to the next PAW Player, as listed below in the schedule.

First of all, check the running order below to see when it is your turn to carry the torch. DO NOT post unless it is your turn.

- You must use the lightbulb icon in your reply.

- You must thank the player who passes you the torch (except Nir who starts the route)

- You must bow (if you are male) or curtsy (if you are female) when receiving and passing the torch.

- You must run throughout your city/town with the torch. You must carry the torch through the city/town that you stated in the committment thread.

- Then you must pass on the torch to the next member, saying their WTA World account name. Check the running order in this post so you know who you are passing the torch to.

*Bows* Thank you Philip. *Runs through London, along the River Thames and past Big Ben and The Houses of Parliament. *Bows and passes the torch to alwayshingis*
Please DO NOT make a post unless it is your turn. If you accidentally post at the wrong time, please delete the post as soon as possible. The idea of this task is that we can do it without making a single error .

If you have a problem or question please send me a Private Message. Please DO NOT post a question or say a problem you have in this thread.

Order of Route:

nave 2

47 Rambaldi <0>
Rossana Fan
K&J Fan

*Spencercarlos, who has played since the 1st ever PAW tournament, winner of 8 titles and currently the World No 3, will light the PAW Olympic Flame in Athens

It is now time PAW Players, to hand the PAW Olympic Torch to Nir, in Ramat-Gan, Israel, who will carry the torch through the 1st stage of it's journey across the world

Here is the torch Nir, Good Luck

Due to gender equity concerns...bionic71 *bows* and *curtsies*,
thanks 47 Rambaldi <0> and accepts the torch at Broadway...

proceeds down George St Street to Circular Quay, to the steps of the Opera House, through the Botanical Gardens and onto the Southern Cross Drive which will take him to the Domestic Terminal....

( considering that the run so far has covered about 20 kms and SpikeyAidam is located in Melbourne, some over 1000kms away, bionic71 has elected to take a plane for the remainder of the journey...)

...Arrives at Tullamarine, Melbourne Domestic Terminal (some 50 mins later), considers the 40 km still left to run and decides on a taxi to Melbourne Park....

Passes torch to SpikeyAidanm after another *bow* and *curtsy combination* .....

(then heads off to Chapel St for a much needed massage, a good coffee and some shopping)
