Like in a real Fed Cup, there must be a minimum of 2 players in a country's team and a maximum of 5.
Captains will be appointed by me according to the highest rank AFTER PAW Miami 2004.
Like Real Fed Cup, PAW ranking points are not part of Fed Cup
If more than 5 players commit per country, it will be up to that country's team captain to choose a team of 5 players. (Note these 5 players can change from rounds, eg players that miss out in R1 may still have a chance to play the final...)
All players should post at least three supplementary PAW's (in case a player withdraws...), all possible supplementary PAW matches will have scoring points…
Players only need commit in the first round and in this thread, then they are in for the rest of the year.
There will be only one PAW Fed Cup thread for the year which will be posted in the Federation Cup forum.
This year the tournament will work as a knockout tournament, with countires facing off against each other like in the real Fed Cup, eg Bulgaria vs Sinapore in R1, whoever gains the greatest calculation of scores (see how they work, below) will advance the the Quarters.
Calculation of Scores:
2 player-team: Average points of ALL player's points 3-5 player-team: Average points of ALL player's points, minus one player's worst result
Number of individual player picks:
First Round - 16, Quarters - 8, Semis - 5, Final - 3 (these include doubles)

I know I've been a liar
And I know I've been a fool
I hope we didn't break it
But I'm glad we broke the rules
My cave is deep now
Yet your light is shining through
I cover my eyes
Still all I see is you
