Re: 2nd leg scores: check today's results!

FED CUP

World Group I RR Day 2

The You Knows ( 1 ) vs ROSA (Residents of Sainte-Anne) ( 2 )
3 - 2

Kuilli ( 1 ) - -Ph51- ( 2 ) 6-1 6-1
Geewhiz ( 2 ) – Ceze ( 1 ) 7-5 4-6 3-6
Rik. ( 3 ) & Miracle Worker ( 4 ) – Yasmine ( 3 ) & Gallofa ( 4 ) 4-6 4-6
Geewhiz ( 2 ) - -Ph51- ( 2 ) 6-2 6-1
Kuilli ( 1 ) – Ceze ( 1 ) 7-5 67-7 6-2

The singles result doesn’t change (though The Crow did score more points than Kuilli in this leg despite a worse combination and a loss in the singles draw! ). So, all the 3 Day 1 winners get a second tie win, while the other 3 teams are still stuck at zero.

Re: 2nd leg scores: check today's results!

FED CUP

World Group II RR Day 2

Russia ( 2 ) vs North America ( 3 )
1 - 4

Imperfect Angel ( 1 ) – Hateblackouts02 ( 2 ) 6-7 7-6 4-6
Moodin0931 ( 2 ) - VeeJJ ( 1 ) 3-6 3-6
Imperfect Angel ( 1 ) & Moodin0931 ( 2 ) – VeeJJ ( 1 ) & Hateblackouts02 ( 2 ) 7-6 4-6 2-6
Moodin0931 ( 2 ) – Hateblackouts02 ( 2 ) 2-6 1-6
Imperfect Angel ( 1 ) - VeeJJ ( 1 ) 6-4 6-3

This rubber win by Russia means a lot: after the 0-5 loss in the opening day, the North Americans can’t be #1 and qualify no matter what the other 2 teams score in the final day. On the other hand, the Russian can still hope for a 5-0 win against the Europeans (who will need just one rubber to stay ahead).

Re: 2nd leg scores: check today's results!

And that's it for the 2nd leg.

Hopefully I will be able to post all the ranking updates before leaving for a work trip next week. Then, October should be a good month for a serious Tennis Poker catching up.

Thank you, good luck!

Re: All the 2nd leg scores here!

Congrats Yas!! Impressive!!
And congrats Yas and Ceze!! At least we still have our #1 ranking.

Fed Cup was close. We were very lucky Yas was stuck in doubles and wasn't able to play singles.

And yay for being #1 in singles. It's been a while, and it probably won't last, but I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

Thanks Doc!!

Yasmine adds her second doubles title as well, the first with Ceze (after the one with Kart), who had won 3 times already with Tennace and Phil.
Geewhiz & Kuilli don’t get the 12th title but keep the doubles #1 spot for the 26th leg. It’s also the 6th leg for Kuilli at #1 in singles and doubles at the same time.

Congratulations to Yasmine & Ceze!!!
almost forgot we play doubles together Well done Yasmine in singles and thanks for the title in doubles (I'm sure you did most of the work )

I just read from Doc that it was my second title, gosh it was so long ago I didn't even remember winning one someday

Probably just a simple typo. I think I lost the second set 6-7.
And thanks.
