Post The 2007 Tennis Poker Champions League: congratulations to Kuilli!

The 2007 Tennis Poker Champions League!

Welcome to the first edition of the Tennis Poker Champions League.

This is a combined event where all the singles, doubles, Fed Cup rubber and World Championships match wins will be counted to find the overall greatest Tennis Poker player!

Originally intended as a game reserved to last year’s winners, all the posters will have a chance to win this title, including the newcomers!

Re: The 2007 Tennis Poker Champions League: come and read about the different divisions!

The 48 posters have been divided into 4 divisions according to their 2006 results.

Division 1 will include all the multiple winners: all the players who won at least 2 titles or medals during the 2006 season will start right from the top.

One title makes you eligible for Division 2, together with the posters with the best YER achievements.

All the other 2006 players will fight in Division 3, while all this season newcomers will start from Division 4.

At the end of the 2007 season, the poster with more points, no matter what division he/she is in, will be the winner.

Good luck everyone for this brand new challenge!

Sounds like another good addition to the tennis poker season. A quick question about it though, how will you decide ties? eg if four people are on 100 pts how you will decide which three get relegated?

Anyways thanks Doc for this new tennis poker addition.

Great question.

Evil Doc suggests: all of them get relegated. Or promoted.

More seriously, everything comes from the singles poker combination, so I think that's the best solution for tie-breakers. In 8 years we never had a tie surviving the second best result rule, but if that's the case, we'll arrange a play-off match in the following leg.

Thank you for your help!
