Talking 6th leg doubles results!

Tennis Poker 2006
6th leg: July 24th - August 27th
Stanford, Budapest, San Diego, Los Angeles, Stockholm, Montreal, New Haven, Forest Hills

With 4 posters over 1200 in singles, it was clear the most consistent doubles partner had to make the difference.

Hey Doc just wondering how Fieke and Per4ever had higher scores than me when I won the singles?

More bonus points by beating higher ranked players. Doc hasn't adapted (yet?) to the abandonment of quality points

That's it.

I haven't planned a ranking system change, bonus points IMO are important for various reasons:

1 - I'm too lazy to change a whole sets of ranking points for each player

2 - It helps lower-ranked players to go up, and that's good with only 8 events per year, because we all know how just one good result can keep you at the top for all the season *cough*Josh*cough*

3 - I'm too lazy to change a whole sets of ranking points for each player

4 - It can make the same match have different results in singles and in Fed Cup

5 - I'm too lazy to change a whole sets of ranking points for each player

Anyway, I'm ready to make a change for the 2007 season if players don't like it this way.

I like it in this game. As you have said it's too much work to change a whole sets of ranking points for each player It helps lower-ranked players to go up, and that's good with only 8 events per year.

I'm all for aiding the lower ranked players, there has to be a way for you to get to the top somehow
