Vika won the Diamond Aces award for promoting the game on and off court.

Cronin was sniping on twitter saying only the tennis writers' award mattered and implying she doesn't deserve this.

^ People start to like her more and more on this forum as well as in the real world When exactly did she get that award?

Also, as you mentioned:
Matt Cronin ‏@TennisReporters
@angelikf Only award like that matters is ITWA media award as more objective. Vika has improved, but not at level off court as others

Why is he so pressed?

Re: *Vika Azarenka Cheering Thread* - Vikalume 3.

I was up at 3am to watch this match.

Ridiculous, Peak Kerber pulling winners and aces out of everywhere, Vika's ROS was so badly off for the majority of the match, I don't know what was up with that, those millions of break points where Kerber saved with an unusually blistering serve (haven't seen Kerber serve so well ever) or Vika made a meal of an opportunity. Finally, the fact that she had the capacity to let tonnes of anger out (racquet smashing) and then move on and win from it is very impressive, as if we needed any more example of her mental strength. The way she saved those 2 MPs was badass.
oh yeah i guess is offline
