I am just following her match against vogele and shes doing amazingly. She lost the first set by a bagel, presumably due to nerves but served for the second set at 54, got broken but is now serving for it again at 65.

Out of curiosity, I looked up her activity and shes had some nice results, including a win in pomezia last week, coming through qualifying. I would also like to comment on her maturity. Up 42, vogele got it back to 4 all, but she didnt give up.

Lets support another bright hope from Belarus :)

Where are you watching it?

Im not
Its nice that she now has perhaps 2 fans :)
Im shocked at how little threads there are here, and the activity. For example, Anna Orlik, who was in great form at one stage doesnt even have a thread, let alone any posters. I only discovered Alia today :)

Anna did have a thread, I used to post in it :) Not sure what happened to that thread.

Edit: just saw the thread is still there. Few threads below this.

Anyway, Stefanie Voegele def. Aliaksandra Sasnovich 6-0 5-7 6-3
She seemed to lose the plot at the end. Check Fed Cup Livescore thread for a full log of 3rd set scores.
She went 1-11 in points from 3-3 to being down 40-0 3 Match Points.
Lets hope she can continue her good form into tomorrow with her match against Timea, and that she wont be so nervous :)

Alia is on entry list for San Severo 10K ion Italy, starting on Monday. She will also get 12 ranking points then, as her Pomezia points will come through. Hopefully another good result here.

On her match tonight, lets hope she can play well against Timea, and that olga can take the pressure off by beating Stefanie :)

Timea Bacsinszky def. Aliaksandra Sasnovich 6-2 3-6 6-1
A great effort from Alia and let's hope she can take this form into her next 10K. If she can play at this level (and keep the unforced errors down as her stats weren't great) she could easily be top 400 by the end of the year, if she plays her tournaments well. :)

Good that you made a thread for Sasha, chinching. :) I felt like making one after her winning a 25K last week and being selected in Belarusian team, but was a bit lazy about it.

Sasha lost both her matches this week-end, but pushing Vögele and Bacsinszky, 2 solid players, in excellent and very encouraging.
Hope she keeps improving! :cheer:

I like the 5th picture. The problem for her is consistency. She has won 2 10ks recently according to her activity but she hasn't been able to do this week after week. Next week in San Severo 10k, we will find out :)
BTW, why did so many threads in here get deleted???

Also, PerfectForm, there is no thread for Alia. Only Hanna Orlik, Dzahelovic, Pekhova and some others i've never heard of.

Hanna Orlik is Anna Orlik, she changed her name :)

Alia is playing in the 10K and the draw is out. She has to play an Italian Wildcard first round bu then may have to face the top seed, Grymalska :scared:
Hopefully she can continue her Fed Cup form, and win!!! :cheer:
BTW, there are only 4 doubles teams so she should have entered and maybe have gotten 6 or 8 points guarenteed!!

Too bad she lost today. But she must be tired from her run in Pomezia + her 2 tough matches in Fed Cup. She's all new to this intensity of play. :)

Well, last year she was still only 17. Don't know if she will keep playing juniors this year. Maybe only Slams? But probably her recent good results in pros will decide her to move on to the pro circuit. :)
