Arrow The final dessition on Jrs playing pro. And another poll.

Ok I read all the opinions and this was a conclusion that I hope is ok for everybody.

* Juniors can play the 4 grand slams

* Juniors can get 3 wc's per year in a home country event. If their country doesn't has a pro tournament, then the player can decide where to play.

* Juniors can play more pro events by ONLY winning or being a runner-up in a junior event.

So in conclusion Juniors can play 7 events in a year... if they do well they can play more.

I tried to use what Josh and David wanted and the people who wnated to play some other events also. So if you don't like it then say what can be changed with an intelligent reason and we can get to an agreement.

Now I have another poll. As you have seen before in some draws... I include some players that simply dissapeared in the tour (Like E. Dokic or the Rosario sisters )

I'm not sure if you have played the game @ playasport.com... well the idea I have is of having some players with no user only for filling draws. This players will always have a quantity of 0,0,0 as their points so they can't beat any player. This would be only as I said before for filling draws... usually qualifying draws, instead of having 1 or 3 byes.

This will help probably low players... but the luck would be with some players some other time. Of course beating this players won't give any bonus point but well at least a win. So tell me.

i like the junior idea. Not sure about teh fill ins. As that means that as a player you are assured 2nd round points, when normally if u ahve a bye then loose you only get 1st round points.

It will help teh lower players though, so i suppose its good.

BRAVO! What could we do if that happened? It never happened before and I don't think it'll happen soon.

Why not allow juniors to play the ten events, but have their pro points be much less. Like, in the junior tour, the juniors points are usually 100-103. Well, if they want to play a pro event, give them say 80-83 points. That should effectively prevent junior players from winning a grand slam or something.

I still don't like that this is changing in the course of a season, though.

the new rules is good, it gives incentive for juniors to actually play junior events insead of playing in pro event to test out points for their pro player etc.

Also the wildcard thing is cool

As with everyone else here, I agree, it is a perfect idea.

Alek -- do what you need to do to fill-in draws, it really doesn't matter A few easy wins never hurt anyone
