I have decided to run the Hopman Cup once again after a few years absence and this exhibition event will be held during the first week in Perth
There will be only 8 teams, the same number of teams as the actual Hopman Cup and Australia automatically gets a WC for being home country.
I want to change the format a bit this year.
Who will participate in the Hopman Cup? The highest 7 ranked countries who sign up will get in (based on singles ranking). Each country will represent by the highest ranked player that signs up. If we have four American players signed up, the highest ranked single player will represent. You cannot play an actual tournament during the week.
This is only for senior active players, no juniors or retired players.
You will send your hard points for your senior player, but only 80 points for your male partner and 100 points for the mixed matches.
Deadline for commitment: 28th December, 20:00 WST Western Standard Time.
Inspiration is for amateurs
