Fed Cup Information

Hey everyone - here is a note about Fed Cup.

The official sign-in thread for Fed Cup will take place about one week before the event starts.

With Fed Cup, the top ranked player from each country that plays is the captain of the team. Once you sign-in on the official thread, the captain will determine who plays singles and doubles.

Juniors are allowed to play Fed Cup! This will open it up to more countries. If a country has 2 players and the same manager is over the pro and junior player, they will receive only 80 points for their junior players. If the junior manager is a separate player, they will receive 90 points for their junior player.

The main draws for World Group Group I and World Group II are tentative (published last year). However, if no player signs-in for a World Group team, then the highest ranked team from the next level is promoted (there is a World Group III if there is enough interest).
