Re: Luxembourg

I'm expecting Vakulenko to be Anna's first opponent. She could be tricky, she had a great US Open.

Anna Chakvetadze
Agnieszka Radwanska Vera Zvonareva • Laura Robson • Donna Vekic Heather WatsonElina Svitolina Melanie Oudin • Andrea Petkovic

I'd say it's a pretty tough draw!

Re: Luxembourg

It's the easier half. You can see the advantage her ranking gives Anna.
She gets a bye and only one other seed in her quarter.

Re: Luxembourg

She is in the easier half. That being said there are opponents that could be tough, but Anna should still make the finals in my opinion. Good luck Anna!

Re: Luxembourg

I'm rooting for an Anna vs Dani final. I feel Anna has a lot better chance of making it to the finals though. The way she has been playing she will probably make the final, but give us a lot of stress on the way!

Good luck Anna!

Udachi Anya

I’d like to take Roddick’s serve, Gonzales’s forehand… As well as Federer’s backhand and mental. Then I’d be world number 1, easy! No one could beat me.

Re: Luxembourg

Anna back from the high of Fed Cup win. I think she needs to have a good tournament here in preparation for Kremlin Cup. She has a lot of points to defend there. Good thing she's on the easier part of the draw but of course it's still not a guarantee that she'll win but I will be surprised if she doesn't reach the final.

Gdog - Anna and Dani cannot meet in the final. Only in the semis.

Re: Luxembourg

A question: Does Anna have a cheering thread in the Russian Roulette forum? If there is, I can't seem to find it.
