I defo think ANSLEY CARGILL deserves a WC i would like to see her in the Main Draw, after winning two titles in 3 weeks at 50k and 25k level and a good win-loss record for the year 19-7! Defo thinks she deserves a WC!

I agree.

She is showing the USTA signs of life
and she'll definitely I think get one.

The USTA seems to like Amber, so I am guessing Liu will get a Qualies WC.

You like Lilia, yet cannot spell her surname I hope Osterloh gets one though

Ahsha Rolle- Big game, younger
Angela Haynes- has done well at US Open B4- good player, well known
Alexa Glatch- Up and comer- almost a certainty
Car Cullickson- i'm a big fan- maybe this is hhope as she will ne running out of chances

Other possibilities:
Mattek- I think certainty & will bump one of the above if no one wd's from MD
Alexandra S- Certainly an attention seeker and will get attention but has she (or her mum) burnt the bridges. A fun choice- I enjoy her!
Jessica Kirkland- Maybe unlucky and miss out
Mashona W- I really like her but her Fed Cup inclusion is the only thing keeping her in the race- & only just

I don't think so:
Osterlich-again i like her but she has had a few in her day
Dabek- Had little support from USTA in tregards to WC's- don't think it will start now
Rao- a bad relationship witht he USTA

Qualy Wildcards: I don't think any have a MD chance

Cargill (after this week in Hammond especially but not enogh for MD)
Spears (mini resurgence in last couple of months, def not MD though)
N Uberio
Ospina
Liu
Kops-Jones
Gamble
Cohen

Maybe Sndyer- came back ok in late 1/2 of 2005- little this year though
Maybe Nelson

Stevenson has gotten a few wild cards into the main draw in the past and did absolutely nothing with them. She may have used up her wild cards.

Alexa Glatch is a lock for a wc I think. They were really building her up last year during her juniors run at last year's open.

I think Lauren Albanese may get a main draw wc, if not at least a qualies wc

Madison Brengle won't get a main draw wc but may get one into the qualies. At least one college player will get a qualies wild card.

It's not that bad Plus, she is a better player to give it to than Haynes.

do you guys know what the cut off for the qualies drawwould be in terms of ranking.

Neha Uberoi is ranked outside of top 250 right now and I was wondering what her chances of making the qualies draw would be incase she does not get a wilcard into the qualies.

Mattek will not be able to get into the Main Draw because of withdrawals. Players will withdraw last minute to keep their hopes alive of playing the final major. And last minute withdrawals mean lucky losers -- not promoting the next-in-lines. Mattek should receive a WC, especially after a QF showing at Los Angeles, defeating Pennetta and pushing Elena to three. Mattek is a very good player. I saw her play Dechy at the US Open once a few years back and she pushed Dechy to three. I am very intrigued to see how she will play considering her recent success/resurgence.

Lauren Albanese has earned the main draw WC given to the USTA Girls 18 Super Hardcourts champion.
