The All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) has announced the launch of a brand-new service, Wimbledon Live, with live and on demand video coverage of the 2006 Wimbledon Championships through the official website www.wimbledon.org
For the first time, tennis fans in the majority of markets world-wide will be able to watch daily live coverage on selected Wimbledon show courts, including Centre and No. 1 Courts, via a special video and audio subscription service.
In addition, fans will also be able to access the rich history of the world's premier tennis tournament where a selection of archive material and all Wimbledon's 2006 televised matches will be available on-demand.
Radio Wimbledon will also be streamed, free, on Wimbledon Live. This service will provide three distinct feeds - Radio Wimbledon, and commentary from Centre Court and No.1 Court.
The Club has worked closely with its partner IMG Media to develop and implement these initiatives.
Ian Ritchie, the All England Club's Chief Executive, said: "We pride ourselves on being traditional yet forward-thinking and have always embraced opportunities to extend the coverage of The Championships to the widest possible audience. Our new services will deliver live Championships action around the world through a variety of platforms."
The new service has been developed with Mediazone and integrated into the club's official website. Michelle Wu, CEO of Mediazone, said, "This is a truly unique and ground-breaking new media initiative. By working closely with the AELTC, IMG Media and IBM, we are able to offer a truly comprehensive live and on-demand offering to Wimbledon's millions of fans around the world".

, and the Club's Official Supplier of IT and Consultancy. IBM will provide comprehensive content to on-line audiences, which will include live scoring, point-tracker, as well the opportunity to visit the online shop.
The Club is also making live and on-demand coverage of The Championships available to selected mobile phone operators in the UK and around the world. For the first time, mobile phone users will have access to live match play.
