Re: 2011 Schedule

wondering if she'll withdraw from Kuala Lumpur and Indian Wells. Maybe not even worth it, lot of travel for 1-1 hardcourt tournament/match... and apparently she is training on clay at Monte Carlo...
her ranking maybe won't be enough to get in Marbella or Charleston.
Stuttgart is too heavy, but Fes-Estoril/Barcelona looks good place for comeback, she can get in with her ranking most probably.

Re: 2011 Schedule

I'm fairly certain she'll WD from KL if she hasn't already. How much further will she drop after Stuttgart QF comes off? ~150?

Re: 2011 Schedule

590-120pts =...
yeah, around 140-150.

btw RG entry list will be out after Charleston-before Stuttgart (I think), with her current ranking (~115-120) needs couple withdrawal to get in.

Re: 2011 Schedule

I think she should forget IW, Miami and just play red clay.
Int'ls & 50k, those kinds of events.
She made a big forward move when she went to red clay in 2008.
And she probably has her best chance to find old form in weak clay fields.

I disagree It not like She got no point to defend Dinara has every thing to gain in mostly every event and @ this time she should really play some tournament. Since Dinara has A new coach I hope they made some progress which we have to see but she need to get on the court I think she need to still play Malaysian Open Then IW, Miami after that Andalucia Tennis Experience, Porsche Tennis Grand Prix,Estoril Open,Mutua Madrilena Madrid Open & Internazionali BNL d'Italia take the next week off then FO

Re: 2011 Schedule

Ranking of 65, taking the week off that she turns 25.
Now she needs a good early draw in Madrid

Re: 2011 Schedule

next week will lose Stuttgart points, then nothing to defend until US summer. If she can win 1-2 matches at every tournament she'll be back in top50.
Top50 ranking is enough to get into maindraw anywhere, (except the very loaded ones. Stuttgart, Sydney, maybe Eastbourne).
Madrid, Rome, RG, Wimbledon biggest to come, if she could win couple match that would be perfect.

If she loses very early in Madrid and Rome, i can see her taking WC to Brussel. Maybe Strasbourg.

Re: 2011 Schedule

I think if she performs well at Madrid-Rome-RG ,she may be seeded by the USO.

Re: 2011 Schedule

2days in hospital is not good. She'll be weak. Her fitness wasn't perfect at all, but now MArbella and Fes just made it worse. She should not play to much tournament, just focus a bit on physical training.
Madrid, Rome, RG, Wimb and than US summer is enough. nothing extra.
