Just ask Nadia! Or Domi, for that matter.

Honestly, I know I'm totally biased but at this point I'd be happy to see her simply replace Gaston. It doesn't have to be with Z. I'm sure Gaston is a really nice guy, but it just isn't working out for them.

Re: Dinarik's Kick ASS,DON'T Break Your Back US H-court Thread

What really strikes me as sad is that Dinara is mentally stronger than Ana at her core;it'd be hard to tell that by the current results, but I'm convinced it's true and even some other Ana fans agree with me.The Serb's recent success has resulted from surrounding herself with the RIGHT PEOPLE and re-establishing her confidence...maybe even higher than it was in 2008....

Dinarik, don't lie to us...or,more importantly,to YOURSELF...by saying that you're confident with your current situation and career plan....Even a retard like Roddick or Isner isn't THAT stupid(maybe close, but not all the way). You need to find someone that you KNOW you can trust w/o a doubt...even if you don't always agree 100% with that person....preferably someone with an unshakable reputation for winning

Congrats on Number Three, Kim! We need more of you in this world

Right. He got thrown into a weird situation at the suggestion of someone else. I don't really have much criticism for the guy other than that I think the style of game he's suggesting she plays is completely wrong. I just don't think it's working.

Personally, I'd be surprised if Gaston lasted much longer. Between what I saw at her match Monday and her practice on Sunday (in the entire 30-40 minutes I was there, she spoke to him maybe twice) it's easy to see she's not happy with the situation.

It's encouraging that she's not totally deluding herself.....Now it's time to get on the RIGHT track

Get a hot new coach like Vera!! Sergey Demekhine is Love.

I'm just trying to cheer myself up about her situation.

Not so sure that getting a 'hot' coach is the best move for Dinara....Unless the guy is disciplined enough to not get intimately involved with her....If THAT happened,we might start playing funeral taps for Dinarik's career

Yeah. It was actually hard to watch her ignoring him on Sunday; I was so happy when Agnes started chatting with him just because it was nice to see someone paying attention to him.

Now you might call ME ornery...though I was never a gymnast.......I don't feel much sympathy for him.I'm sure he's compensated quite reasonably---and is OVERpaid if Pusher Dinara was his great brainstorm. If getting ignored hurts his feelings, then he can go try a less competitive sport as he plays badminton with the old ladies at the local seniors center

So with Vika's withdrawal does that mean we've officially left the US?

Seriously.
I have no sympathy whatsoever for him, but the fact that i'm one of the lucky people () who saw him during his first practice with Dinara, didn't help my judgement. I had to orient my anger toward someone

What else to say about her really, she won't change anything anytime soon because it would mean that she failed in 'her' choices. Basically the car crash is still going strong

yes. From her interveiw u can see it.but I hope she doesnt think she is walking on the right road.I really cant see what is right.her game?her coach?which is right?it seems she thought she is right in her interveiw.dina is always working hard,I never doubt it.but if u do the wrong thing,no matter how hard u work,it's hard to get success.if she fails again,I really dont know what will happen

I'm pretty sure they'll give a walkover Vika just got out of the hospital yesterday evening, she has a mild concussion so it would be really stupid to try to play.

Jelena Jankovic | Maria Sharapova | Sabine Lisicki | Nicole Vaidisova
Venus Williams | Maria Kirilenko | Victoria Azarenka | Madison Keys

It would be stupid to try to play today. But not as stupid as it was to try to play yesterday, so you never know.

Anyway, if Dinara's going to be stupid enough to stay in a situation that's clearly not working for her just because she's too stubborn to back down, then there's nothing anyone can say or do to change it. I guess we'll all just have to sit back and watch the trainwreck. And who knows, maybe someday she'll be top 30 again...
