A Question of Consistency

The most consistent thing about Dinara seems to be that she's never really consistent.
Now that she's getting a bit older (almost 20) do you think that she'll start to develop a certain level of consistency, or will she always be a bit all over the place in her level of play? Does her uneven play just boil down to mental toughness?
At least waiting for Dinara to play is never boring. You never know which Dinara is going to show up

Good question.
Although I think, this year...she's been quite consistant. Except for Miami, obviously. Well, and the AO...
I don't know, hopefully she'll be able to grow consistantly consistant

Well judging by Marat's consistency...

A solid clay season though could give her a lot of confidence, and I really think that's one of Dinara's main problems - the inability to maintain confidence and belief in her abilities from tournament to tournament.

It does seem to be a bit of a family thing
Hopefully, Amelia Island can give some confidence again. Her draw seems to be alright...but then again, that's not always a guarantee

She can beat anyone on her day when she is playing her best, but she seems to get down on herself too much. (I blame big bro)

After her showing at Tier 1 level in Rome beating Kim, Lena D and Kuzie I think she now believes she has what it takes to beat the best- and she'll go well in RG.

Dinara Safina- Super Slugger
Fernando Verdasco- Rafael who?
