Re: Kateryna Kozlova

Finally some wins for Katya. Let's hope she can keep it up, she needs all the points she can get. Her ranking is now outside Top 200.

And we'll never be royals (royals). It don't run in our blood, That kind of luxe just ain't for us. We crave a different kind of buzz.

Indeed. I was so disappointed when I saw how her ranking had dropped....she was unlucky with that injury.

Not really
Still, she really should beat Kulichkova although she does seem to play her best in Turkey on Hardcourt

Great week for Katya! A shame she couldn't win the final but overall she can be pleased. Hopefully this will boost her confidence. She was really on a roll at the end of 2012 but her injuries put her off track. Let's see if she can keep this level up.

If she is as good as her ranking once suggested this is actually quite a bad result as except for the 50K and now this, Kulichkova has been very average. That being said, Hard Court Pro Tournaments in Turkey seem to be to her liking

Considering she was so short on confidence, I think she did well here.

She will play Marina Melnikova in the FQR in Baku.

Awesome! I think this is Katya's first ever WTA maindraw win.

Next up is Hercog/Voskoboeva.

Still a good tournament! I watched some of the match, Katya's not very tall but she gives the ball a good whack.

Anyway her form is definitely turning around recently. And next week she'll return to Top 200!

Re: Kateryna Kozlova

Katya has an excellent game, I liked what I saw against Galya...she got a bit tired in the end, but still a good week.
