FEBRUARY - Qualified for first Tour main draw of season at Pattaya City, falling 1r (l. to eventual runner-up Kostanic); also fell 1r at Bangalore (l. to sister A.Bondarenko); at Dubai, reached 2r in singles (as qualifier, d. Peschke in 1r; l. to No.4 seed and eventual champion Henin-Hardenne 64 75) and SF in doubles (as qualifiers w/A.Bondarenko, upset top seeds Likhovtseva/Zvonareva en route; l. to eventual champions Peschke/Schiavone).

Doubles qualifying
Katya and Alona d. Stephanie Foretz/Antonella Serra Zanetti 8-1 and were then given a walkover by Jackson/Perry.

However, Birnerova/Voskoboeva defeated them 7-6(11) 3-6 6-2 in the qualifying final :sobbing:

Katya plays the qualies in Charleston. She defeated Jessica Kirkland 6/2 6/1 in the first round :D Very convincing score :yeah: Keep up Katya!!! :cool: :bounce: :rocker:
