Re: The Danes are coming - Danish juniors thread

Emilie Francati hasn't been very lucky with her draws in the higher tier tournaments lately. Roland Garros and Wimbledon qualies are probably safe but it would be nice if she could earn a few more points - just in case (or to secure MD entry!).

GL to all the girls next week.

Re: The Danes are coming - Danish juniors thread

The Danish girls playing last week didn't have much success in singles. But Frederikke Svarre had some success in doubles, winning three matches in a G4 in Malta. She plays in Malta again next week: she has just qualified in singles.

Also, Julie Noe seems to be playing a G2 in France. GL to both.

ITF Junior Cap d'Ail, FRA, Grade 2

R1

Julie Noe (DEN) d. Emmanuelle Girard (FRA) 63 63

Julie and her Russian teammate lost R1 in doubles. Julie is up against her doubles partner (who's seeded 4) in singles R2. GL!

ITF Junior Cap d'Ail, FRA, Grade 2

QF

(6)Georgia Brescia (ITA) d. Julie Noe (DEN) 63 75

Good week. Beat an unseeded and a seeded player, and lost somewhat close to another seeded player.

Julie will probably play in France again next week in a Grade 1 tournament. Emilie Francati is also on the acceptance list (I'd like to see a Danish doubles team, but that depends on whether their ranking is good enough to get IN as a team). Julie will probably have to play singles qualification.

Re: The Danes are coming - Danish juniors thread

Both Emilie Francati and Julie Noe have withdrawn from the tournament in France. Instead, Julie Noe is on the entry list in a Grade 2 in Italy. It doesn't seem like Emilie plays next week.

The Danish junior championships are due next week (qualies began yesterday; md begins tomorrow). I'll post more later in the week.

Re: The Danes are coming - Danish juniors thread

No. Too bad, the U18 draw is pretty weak without Emilie, Julie Noe, and Ulrikke Høyer. The U18 entry list (seeded players):

1 Emma Rønholt
2 Amina Hadzic
3 Frederikke Svarre
4 Emma Vesten Håkansson
5 Kathrine Berge
6 Sille Tranberg
7 Emma Tranberg
8 Ditte Marie Egelund

I believe she is. Although she hasn't shown any kind of good form lately. She doesn't play much these days; I guess she's focusing much more on her education at the moment.

Julie Noe is #200 on today's ITF junior rankings - a new career high. Well done!

Re: The Danes are coming - Danish juniors thread

39th City of Florence, ITA, Grade 2

R1

Julie Noe (DEN) d. (6)Verena Hofer (ITA) 62 36 64

Good win. Danish players have lost some really close matches against Verena Hofer in the past (Emilie Francati, and Simone Alipieva twice). Julie plays doubles with Italian Georgia Breschia. They're seeded #3 and have a R1 bye.
