The "Nicole will rise to the top again" Thread - Ranking

So, Next Monday, our Nicole will be # 143

First of all, what can she do now? Can she play WTA events, or she has to play ITF events?

What are your predictions? Can she go back to top 100 this year?

I can tell one thing: I think she won't have to play the qualifications at the US Open
And it could be really nice if she could play ITF events. She could rebuild her game, and gain confidence. I am , weirdly, very excited that she is #143. She will win matches again.

Sharapova | Jankovic | Pavlyuchenkova

“They are definitely a good example of how local communities can overcome the ‘victim syndrome,’ take greater control over their lives and build productive futures for themselves,” Ms. Sharapova said - UN Goodwill Ambassador

Re: The "Nicole will rise to the top again" Thread - Ranking

I think this is what she needed, to fall badly, maybe it would be easier and she will really begin from zero now

Nicole will play Prague where she plays MD, then she should play Q of Stanford, I think she should keep in Q but around last place in Q for Stanford.. then she's 4 out of LA MD and I doubt if she doesn't get in that she will be in Q.. maybe she will get a Q WC, no idea, IMG can do anything.. then Toronto, well the same with LA probably but it's true everyone is playing Cincinnati and LA so maybe Nicole could get in for Toronto Q.. who knows..

and how do u know Nicole won't have to play USO qualies?

Oh no : She shouldn't play Stanford, LA and Toronto.
She should AT LEAST play one ITF event. And win it.
What's the point in playing these tournaments? If she'll lose in the qualifications, it will be even harder for her. She HAS to play ITF tournaments.

We may think that it is hard courts, and that she is good at these. But now she can lose to anybody inside the top 100.

Maybe only the ranking falling can get her clear-headed.Hope Nicole has known the dangerous situation she is in.
I don't think playing qualifications can help her. She'll lose to the players we don't know very easily.
What a shame! That really is Nicole Vaidisova!

You've chosen your way.

Paszek. Begu. Cirstea. Lisicki. Pavlyuchenkova.
Pironkova. Stephens. Tatishvili. McHale. Flipkens.
Grammatikopoulou ~ Papamichail ~ Sakkari
I'm obsessed with the Greek players. Deal with it.

That's what I am afraid of. There are actually some of top 100 players play ITF, I can't bear her loss in such a low tournament...

Look, the hard season is coming again, she didn't play that bad this yearAs for US open, I don't know exactly the deadline of MD, but I think she has to play Q and that's not a bad thing.

Maria Sharapova Nicole Vaidisova

come back please!!

Hopefully she gets a good draw in Prague and can get some confidence and ranking points.

Nicole, please rise again, change something, change everything. I am so tired of people always saying, "I hope so-and-so does not become like Nicole..."
