I know it's not off-topic but are we still gonna do that 'best pic of the year' contest in the other thread?

It's a language ;-) It's spoken in Frysland, which is a province of the Netherlands. They are stubborn and keep speaking their own language next to Dutch, lol.

Best Flavia pic of the year - look in the 2007 pictures thread, I thought it'd be nice if we all nominate 5 pictures, and then vote for the best pic of the year

there isn't best. Without dialects, the real italian is that talked in Florence!

It's in the north of the Netherlands
the language is kind of a mixture between Dutch, English and German. It sounds weird. If you want to get an idea, download these songs:
In nije dei, by De Kast
Wer bisto, by Twarres

They were a national hit here, both in Frysian

Re: The off-season off-topic thread - think of a name for this thread&the forum!

I think Italian has too many dialects, but it's funny!
I hate my northern accent (the Venetian one), i'm trying to loose it, now that i live in the US it will be easier....i hope!lol

I like the italian southern accent, it's pretty cool, the northern one is rude, it's like animals speaking!

Francesco, for what tennis club did Flavia play?Viterbo or the other one?

FORZA FLAVIA

Re: The off-season off-topic thread - think of a name for this thread&the forum!

I took part in a psychology research today, it included an EEG (you know, one of these scans were they put about 40 censors on your head and they measure your brain activity). The research in itself was pretty boring, just had to look at some images and words, and press a button everytime a colour came up But it was still nice
