Only if she wins two matches and reaches QF.

I had to.

Seriously?! I obviously brainwashed myself to forget that,

Yeah, Doni. Wasn't she leading Geanie 5-4 and had 15-30 on her serve or smth. Pretty sure she just needed that game. Or am I delusional?

No.. Genie served for the 2nd set at *5-3. Got broken to 5-4. Then Ana held to 5-5. Then she missed 4 returns to let Genie hold to 6-5*. And then Ana double faulted twice to lose serve and set 5-7.

I have that match from hell memorized unfortunately. Trauma.

So she was two games away I thought for sure after 5-5 she would win it

Please enough about Bouchard match, it gives me headache.

Despite the fact that Ana won only two clay tournaments - Berlin 2007 and RG 2008, she still is clay princess. Lets hope for the best.

Two consecutive RG finals

Re: 2014 European spring: The clay is more red when it's 400love

This is the time for Ana to get to #10. Sara and Maria both have some serious points to defend and if Ana manages to play well, she can get in the top 10. Besides the Madrid semis, Ana doesn't have any serious defense of her points. So, hopefully, she does well in Stuttgart so when Madrid comes around, (if she does not do well at Madrid) she won't have a serious drop in her points overall. Then, she should play well in Rome (quarters, semis, final, depending on the draw) and French (quarters or semis) because Sara and Maria both have big points to defend, and Ana doesn't.

But it's not like it is going to be easy. Cibulkova and Pennetta can be very good on clay and both have less points to defend than Ana has. I agree, Ana definitely has a chance, but it will be tough contest between her, Dominika and Flavia for spot in top 10 (Maria probably going out if she doesn't play very well). Errani is already out of top 10.

Dominika is in of top 10, so she's not a problem

Back on topic, almost everything is in Ana's hands, so if she decide to play her tennis she will come back to top 10 without any doubt

Re: 2014 European spring: The clay is more red when it's 400love

Trying to forget that she was one match away from top 10 last year when she lost to Radwanska at RG 4th round.

If my predictions go well and Ana does win her 3rd title of the season on clay, then she'll probably re-enter top 10.
