Re: 2014 European spring: The clay is more red in the City of Lights

And now I'm sure her coach is useless regarding tactics. I already had that feeling when she played such stupid match against CSN and Bouchard. But now I'm sure.. one couldn't have any sense of tactics and play every shot to Lucie's FH and act surprise when she hit it DTL. Its the most obvious pattern, and anyone remotely aware of tactics would be extra prepared for that.

That Ana doesn't have a brain, we already knew.. today was only another example of complete lack of brains. Ana is blind to every single pattern that happens to her own matches. It happens again and again and she can't see she is being burned every single time and needs to change it. No.. what does she do? Rush rush rush rush rush rush rush tries to force it all with no need and hits herself off court. Beyond stupid.

Ana just won't do anything remotely relevant until she buys herself a brain. No even club level players are this tennis dumb.

What can we do? She was unlucky, everyone has their nemesis. Safarova is Ana's. It's disappointing really, so I think I will take some break from tennis for few days, I mean, till Birmingham starts.

Have a nice time here everyone. And hold on, sooner or later, stars are gonna look to us again. She plays good, that is the most important thing.

This is Unlucky is

You build your own luck.. you can't expect to do well in a slam and be losing this pathetically against Safarova.

Ana is terrible on grass.. unless she gets a draw filled with clay courters who are even worse than her, she won't do much on grass.

Fluke. She did well to beat Petrova, and Vaidisova choked.

Waiting for Ana Ivanovic to just retire already .

I am just so mad at myself, and Ana and at the world right now. I'm just hiding it all. Of course, Lucie played well but I just can't accept this loss. This is so pathetic. I want her to have a good run in FO, because she just had a wonderful clay-court season. But this?! Losing to a player who lost to a scrub last week in the ITF?!

I know, but everyone has their nemesis. Latin language was mine for too long in gymnazium. I only managed to have good marks in 4th grade.

Re: 2014 European spring: Grass is for cows, right?

This is so sad and disappointing

I just don't understand how Ana and her teams could come up with some tactics like that, like hitting everything to Bouchard's and CSN's BHs and now to Lucie's FHs Are they thinking that "Is that really her weapon? Let's challenge that! And if I win by hitting to their weasons, that will make me even more awesome!!" I just can't get it.

I guess at least part of it is the fact that Ana can't redirect the ball well at all on her backhand. For me the bigger issue in this match wasn't even going to the FH all the time, but all those missed FHs. There has to be a way of making that FH more high percentage without compromising lethality. Her forehand was so much more reliably accurate AND hard-hit in 2007.

Waiting for Ana Ivanovic to just retire already .
