Re: 2014 intro: New Zealand and Australia

Do I smell some Benoit Paire rumor here?

Honestly, I am not sure he would be Ana's type.

As of Auckland, I hope that Ana will avoid Safarova in QF.

I don't care/I'm not worried about anyone, I just want Venus and Ana to stay away from each other I don't want to see them meet so early

I think he's more my type actually .

Not. I'm too short. It would be so embarrassing .

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you will have a great day today.

As of Ana, three more days till first draw of 2014!

Not really..

But I do hope Ana gets a cakewalk draw that allows her to go as far as possible in the tournament.

Neutral at the moment.

Still a bit pessimistic but definitely looking forward to it at the same time.

Saw a picture of Ana arriving at Auckland's airport.

Also, saw that the draw for Brisbane's qualifying came out already. That "new season about to begin" feeling.

I am not sure if cakewalk is what Ana needs right now. I would actually like to see her fighting as hard as she can from the very begining bcs that's what waits her during upcoming season. Facing fresh young and motivated players + champions like Serena, Sharapova...

Can you imagine how important would be for Ana to be the first champion of the season? WOW. It seems to me it would make miracles for her.

I feel like Ana needs to be a champion again and get many wins a row so that she can actually be confident enough in herself to fight through tough matches. So if a cake draw gets her many wins, that's good to me.

Draw comes in a few hours right? Hope lady luck begins 2014 on Ana's side.

Re: 2014 intro: New Zealand and Australia

Did anybody of you guys heard about Ana Konjuh? That girl just got 16 yesterday (We had the same birthday hee hee 12/27/97) and I think she is a very tough player even at a very young age

Ana needs to avoid Venus at the early rounds of the competition, but if Ana wants to prove it that she still has that "winning factor" I think she can challenge anybody and win the title.

So excited!!
