Milan is right. JJ needs to win the title, as those 60 points will be replaced by the Nuremberg points if JJ makes QFs (70 points) or better there. So rankings will be X-60+Nuremberg. Only 16 results count for rankings, so once you've played more than 16 tournaments in the last 52 weeks, one result replaces other.

Thanks, I was always a bit confused with points distribution.

I was looking for Ana's Wimbledon dress and found the USOpen one. I guess for Wimbledon it will be like this but white.

Ana has only herself to blame, unfortunately.

Agreed.. its not like she couldn't do anything to garantee that 12th seed.. but she choose to do nothing and wait for it to fall on her lap... which is just a summary of the last 5 years of her career.

I like it

As much as I love Serbian Sistah JJ, I hope Petko can beat her. It will be good for both Andrea and Ana

That's highly unlikely.

This to the nth degree. I mean, I'm not going to hope for Jelena to lose to Petkovic or whatever. At least she clearly knows the importance of attaining that Top 12 for Wimbledon and the difference it makes, hence why she chose to play/vulture/whatever Nuremberg. Unlike a certain somebody who still schedules her year as if she were a Top 10 player. But I guess how could you blame her. Tournaments like Birmingham are beneath greats like her
