Speaking of title, I really felt Ana had great chance last year in Kremlin Cup, Moscow, she played nice tennis overall. But yeah, Stosur prevailed. :/

True, I think had she beat Sam she'd have beaten La Borz as well. Alas, if my aunty was a man, she'd be my uncle

Yes.. that's another match to the list of matches Ana blew.. I remember she had BPs in the first 2 Stosur service games in the 2nd set and wasted them.. then got broken.

Ana hasn't even made a final in almost 2 years..

I hope Ana somehow reaches QF at Wimbledon, let alone final. QF there and QF at Eastbourne would be decent show ups and warm ups for US series, where I expect much much more since Ana's best surface now are hard courts.

That would be truly great. Ana needs that 12th seed for it to be remotely possible..

She has only made b2b QFs 3 times since january 2012. Dubai-IW 2012 (QF-SF), Linz-Moscow 2012 (QF-SF), Stuttgart-Madrid 2013 (QF-SF). Curiously the only other time she made a QF was at the USO.

Jelena is playing in Nuremberg? Bye Ana's chances of being seeded Top 12 and drawing Kvitova in the 4R + getting bagelled by her

Ana got injured after winning the first set.

That first set was probably one of the best displays of tennis I saw in her late last year along with the Fed Cup match against Kvitova.

I really hope she plays Moscow again, it's a winnable tournament because it hasn't gotten that many good players because it was downgraded. Even though she's a former champion in Luxembourg, that tournament bores me Last year Linz wasn't up for grabs anyway thanks to Azarenka being a vulture. This year they have Kvitova, and I would say it wouldn't be a bad idea for Ana to play Linz again, Petra is more than beatable this year and as I mentioned before, Ana beat her indoors so its not that impossible of a task. Just win points girl, any where but win them for your stupid ranking

It seems that some 60 points replaced Jelena's 200 from Birmingham final, which menas final at Nuremberg would be enough for her to replace Ana on #12. Others from that group 11-16 on WTA are not playing this week, which means Ana will be either #12 or #13 seed at Wimbledon and it depends only on Jelena's result.

She will need to win it
These points were out of 16 best, and if she win more than 60 they'll be replaced by new points, I think
