I'm not saying Nigel is reponsible for Ana looking average... mostly she is responsible.. with the lack of dedication, and lack of fitness, so on.. but they both choose a game path that has a dead end for Ana.. that won't really lead her anywhere.

Some tweets from someone who watched Ana practice:

@AnitaIvanovic I guess you mean her tennis cause she always looks good! Her tennis is OK but her coach had a lot to say during practice

@AnitaIvanovic Can't say I was impressed with her forehand during practice. But her serves were not bad. Can't wait to see her play a match.

Re: Ana's Summer Swing Session (Until US Open)

We are all talking about Kerber.. but Ana would have to win a match to get there... and that is not a given. I think it will be against Wicky, who actually leads the h2h 1-0.

Wickmayer and Vinci play today, so Ana's 2nd round match should be on wednesday.

Re: Ana's Summer Swing Session (Until US Open)

It will be Ana x Vinci in the 2nd round of Montreal. Tricky match.. Vinci beat Ana in the 3rd round of Toronto last year. Courts in Montreal seem suuuuuuuuper slow. Ana will need to be patient and ready to deal with 10.000 slices.

Vinci doesn't beat herself, Ana has to beat her.

OOP for tomorrow is out and Ana isn't on it. Pity.. chances of Ana's 2nd round match being streamed is close to 0 now.

I think Ana could make it however it's going to be challenging because Vinci can get people out of their comfort zones.

Re: Ana's Summer Swing Session (Until US Open)

Sharapova withdrew from the tournament, which makes the path for Wozniacki or Cibulkova all the much easier until the semis. Both players are right ahead of Ana in the race.. Cibulkova only needs a QF to get past Ana in the rankings and snatch that coveted 12 seed for USO.

Re: Ana's Summer Swing Session (Until US Open)

She's hit rock bottom finally. Ana should take a good look at herself and decide what she wants to do with her career and life, because she is not a professional tennis player right now.
