Like I said, a tennis player has to accept that she's going into a tough, uncomfortable situation every time she plays a match.
Yeah, the key for her is to develop some tolerance for discomfort. She just has an unbelievably low threshold.
And the worst thing is that she feels discomfort both when she is leading and when she is trailing. NOt to mention that every "stupid" mistake puts her in a ruminating mindset.
Not to mention that she needs to find out why she feels discomfort at the first opportunity when she's ahead. I know why, but she needs to find it out and learn to counteract it.
She really could benefit from cognitive therapy. :sigh:
It's all there for her, she just needs to use it, but I guess she still hasn't ruled out all the other possible causes
I mean, it's just so stupid the way she is avoiding it and hoping it will just somehow all just click.
