Re: anapolis general tennis discussion thread

This is definitely the most shoking result so far..

Agkul Amanmuradova def. MJMS 6-2 6-4.

WTF?!!?!?!

Who is getting out of that part of the draw? MJMS and Azarenka out.

Is Mariajo injured? This half is already looking to be worse than the US Open last year

I`m not that surprised
I knew this would happened, there is no way she could have repeat Rome I didn`t expect her to lose in first round but i also didn`t expect her to have a good run here
Besides after Rome i highly doubt she was even able to practice properly, her head is probably still in the clouds ,or was until this match

Yes.. I also expected some sort of let down.. But Jelena.. Agkul Amanmuradova does not move on clay.. at all. I've seen her play a few times, and she doesn't move.

I just read that MJMS had a shoulder injury and couldn't serve.

I think Ana played against her in Berlin a few years ago,and she was frustrated with her serve
First set was a close one i think

Yes.. she played her in Berlin 2008. I think the match was 7-6 6-2. But Ana was hitting everything long.

Voegele is playing really well.. some credit to the girl. She is not intimidated.

Serena is making a bit too many UEs.
