I have to say I'm almost shocked by this.. she seemed so dependent on Krajan.

It seems this Gaston guy is a former doubles specialist.

Safina actually had a career threatening injury.. Ana never had anything like that, thank God!

Re: anapolis general tennis discussion thread

So.. I woke up for Kuzzy x Sorana.. but I already feel like going back to sleep.. I think I won't finish this match..

My ESPN decided to show Cilic instead, so I have to use a stream. Ana is the only female player ESPN Brazil never fails to cover.

Re: anapolis general tennis discussion thread

Fairly straightfoward win for Kuzzy. I'm a bit surprised.. but she played solid.. definitely better than in her most recent matches.

I feel sorry for Sorana.. losing tons of points from last years's QF. But Kuzzy also needed this.

Kuznetsova I hope she finds her form and just demolishes her quarter of the draw, Wozniacki included.

Re: anapolis general tennis discussion thread

Sveta won Boring match I switched to Cilic`s match as well. Luckily i can watch croatians channels which are always showing their players play during RG/W so i don`t have to use live stream

Sorana I never seen someone trying so hard to hit BH DTL and fail so many times

I also hope Sveta makes a run! Her quarter is ridiculous and she should take it.

If Sveta makes it to the semis I will back her to win the whole thing, I just have this funny feeling about her. I feel that she is either going to lose in the next two rounds, or get the title/finalist - no in between. Kind of the same vibe I have for Ana

mmm.. I don't think she will win it. I honestly believe the winner will come from the top half.
