Re: Ana Ivanovic Pictures Thread vol.2
Q: You’re spending the summer playing tournaments. Do you have time for fun?
Ana: During the tournament, everything is directed to making good results, practicing, fitness, recovery, massages. There’s no much time left for having fun. Going to clubs doesn’t happen often, because I can rarely stay up late. Of course, I use every opportunity to relax, by going to restaurant, taking a walk or going to movies. If I’m too tired, I watch the movie in my room or read a book. I follow a few TV shows like Suits, Homelend or Big Bang Theory.
Q:When you come to Belgrade, do you at least relax a little bit here?
Ana: Belgrade is full of places with good music and nice atmosphere, one of our favorite clubs was Central Park, but it got closed, unfortunately. Most of my friends know that I can’t stand alcohol, so they always joke about how I don’t need more than two lemonades when I dance all night long.
Q: Where will you spend your vacation and with whom?
Ana: I’m invited to come to a private island in Caribbean. I love beaches. Caribbean islands with heavenly white sand and crystal pure water are perfect for the rest after a long and exhausting season.
Q: You spend a lot of time with Djokovic. Can you reveal some exclusive, fun, crazy moments with him?
Ana: When we were on Hopman Cup New Year’s Eve ball, Novak showed his entertainer qualities when he jumped on the stage, took the microphone and sang in front of thousand people.
Q: People say you’re stubborn. In which situations do you show it?
Ana: In all aspects of life. On court and off court. I find it difficult to change the things, even when changes are necessary. But my stubbornness often helps me, because I don’t give up easily.
Q: Which things about your character would you like to change?
Ana: I wish I were more relaxed and not such a perfectionist. I like to have all planned and stick to plans, which is sometimes difficult or even impossible. It’s good when people don’t take everything so seriously.
Q: Are you still shy?
Ana: Yes, when it comes to some things. Public off court activities are not too enjoyable for me. Although it’s better than it was in the beginning of my career.
Q: What’s the easiest way to win your heart?
Ana: When it comes too that, I’m very old-fashioned. I like men who treat women with respect. I like confident (but not arrogant) men who are relaxed and fun. I don’t like persons who enjoy getting a lot of attention.
Q: You had pretty long relationship, were you ever close to marriage?
Ana: No, it was never even close. There will be time for that. But there was a brave boy who approached to me after my match in Australia and asked me to marry him. When I asked how old he was, he said: “I’m 16, but I can wait.“
Q: A tennis player Fernando Verdasco, golfer Adam Scott, businessman Mark Stillitano… How much did the choice of partner affected your… (career, I guess, I can’t see it).
Ana: If you are a pro athlete, which means that you have specific lifestyle/routines, it’s only natural to choose another athlete for a partner, who will easily understand your lifestyle.
Q: How much did it affect your life?
Ana: You learn something from every relationship. You develop as a person, because, as you learn more about your partner, you learn more about yourself. You definitely learn what things you like about men and which not.
Q: You are single now?
Q: How does that make you feel?
Ana: I’m fine with that at the moment.
Q: Do you know when to give up on a man?
Ana: I believe my instincts and I can recognize when things go in wrong direction. One of the best signs is when you have nothing to talk about.
Q: What’s the thing you’ll never understand about men?
Ana: Men and women will never completely understand each other.
Q: What does a man need to do to make a woman cheat on him?
Ana: I appreciate loyalty the most. The infidelity is an unknown concept for me.
Q: Even a small flirt is forbidden?
Ana: I really don’t like that. I know it’s fine for some couples, so it’s all individual. I don’t approve it.
Q: What’s the best way to control a man?
Ana: It’s not healthy to control a man, or the other way around. It’s important to have a balance in relationship. Mutual trust and respect are a base for everything. If you even think about controlling a man, then you’re probably in the wrong relationship.
Q: How do men approach to you, bravely or timidly?
Ana: They rarely approach to me and they do it timidly. But I get the impression that Serbs are more confident than the rest of the men. It happened to me to find a flower bouquet in a hotel room or a small gift with a note, but I don’t consider it a very brave move.
I'm ok with Ana dating Bastian, women, Jelena Jankovic, Trump, Montgomery Burns from Simpsons...
