Re: Australian Open 2009: AUSSE nirvANA

Well i don`t want to see her out before the second week also
And i definitely don`t want Cibulkova,Zheng or Coin,Vinci and players like that in her part of the draw
I watched Wozniacki today and she is in a great form and with a good draw she can go easily into the second week ,Serena was bad she made about 50 UE but you never know with WS

PARTY IN THE PANIC ROOM! Serena wins an undoubtedly clean #22

Congrats on Number Three, Kim! We need more of you in this world

Unforgettable memories of the Olympic Slam Queen, Señora Dementieva

Mental Strength is an underrated ability, it sets champions apart

Making mistakes is human, repeating them is dumb.

What I write is my opinion, and my opinion only.

I saw bits of the match.. and Wozniacki has improved. She could be a potential 4th round opponent for Ana, like last year, as she will be the 11th seed.

Re: Australian Open 2009: AUSSE nirvANA

If Ana can win her first 3 matches I wouldn`t be worried about that match against Wozniacki
But for now 1,2,3rd are the most dangerous if you ask me, after that Impossible is nothing

I think I would be worried about every single match. But I agree with you that the first 3 rounds are the most dangerous ones for Ana. That's the reason my main wish for the draw is some nice, easy first rounds.

Yes.. you are right.. it's always in Ana's racquet anyway.. I just hope she catches someone playing erratic, instead of the best they have ever played (like has happened lately)..

Nice comment from an ESPN Star Sports presenter about Ana:

Which tennis players do you enjoy interviewing most? Is there anyone you would rather avoid?

Ana Ivanovic is the friendliest - she's simply lovely. She's the same sweetie pie on- and offcamera.

Re: Australian Open 2009: AUSSE nirvANA

I drove to Ottawa one night in the winter when it was so cold that the highway buckled every 50 to 100 feet approximately 2 to 5 inches. Add the cold wind and the the wind-chill is unbelievable unless you have experienced it. It is so cold that the grease in vehicle equipment is frozen. If anyone ever has to experience these cold snaps of winter then be sure not to wash your face before you go out into the cold.

and I'm not even fan of Ana Ivanovic... just an objective observer who realize how perfect she is

AMAZING BELGRADE MIRACLE: In just three years (2008-2011) 5 different players born in same city reach world #1 in rankings and several GS titles and finals (WTA singles: Ana Ivanovic and Jelena Jankovic, ATP singles: Novak Djokovic, ATP doubles: Nenad Zimonjic and Daniel Nestor... with notable performances of Bojana Jovanovski, Janko Tipsarevic and Viktor Troicki which is also all three born in Belgrade)

Re: Australian Open 2009: AUSSE nirvANA

I don't understand why people want easy rounds for Ana cause these are the most dangerous.

If she plays with no brains then she can lose to anybody. So easy draws are impossible then.
And why not draw somebody she lost to last year? Ana lost cause she was just awful then and the opponent doesn't matter at all.
If she plays Coin she will win if she gets her level, but lose again if she plays like US Open last year. That hasn't to do a thing about Coin. If her name is Erakovic it doesn't change a thing.

And if Ana beat nr 90,80 and 70 it won't mean a thing. If it's 3 times 6-4 5-7 7-5, she will be crushed against players like Cibulkova, Wozniacki or Azarenka.

If she wins 6-3 6-2 each time, it probably will say a lot about Ana's level.
So don't hope for good draws cause it has NO effect on Ana.
She will win anyway if she's in a good form. If she loses it barely has to do with the opponent.

1. Ana Ivanovic

2. Maria Kirilenko
3. Anastasija Sevastova
