Nothing Hard at Hard (2007 US Open Hardcourts season)

Ana in 2007 is much better than in 2006, and in 2006 at US Open hardcourts series tournaments she won her first career tier-I and Ana is overall winner of US Open 2006 series.

So we expect of her to win again atleast one US Open series tournament (hope tier-I again), to reach TOP3 overall position at USO series ranking (hope #1 again) and to have much more success at US Open than in last two seasons (this is most important).

Of course we all want to see her 100% ready and healthy - especialy after all this knee problems at Wimbledon.

AJDE ANA

AMAZING BELGRADE MIRACLE: In just three years (2008-2011) 5 different players born in same city reach world #1 in rankings and several GS titles and finals (WTA singles: Ana Ivanovic and Jelena Jankovic, ATP singles: Novak Djokovic, ATP doubles: Nenad Zimonjic and Daniel Nestor... with notable performances of Bojana Jovanovski, Janko Tipsarevic and Viktor Troicki which is also all three born in Belgrade)

Ajde Ana!

I really have a good feeling about US Open this year. But on the top of everything I hope she's 100% healthy and I hope she can start her campaign in San Diego, but it's not sure as of now.

Ana Ivanović.

I think she is sheduled to play Stanford(II), San Diego(I) and Toronto(I) before US Open... but because her knee problems Stanford (tier-II) is in doubt now.

Looks like Ana is going to play only 2 events in America - Toronto & US Open.

I hope she enters New Haven late, she would be #1 or #2 seed.

Re: Nothing Hard at Hard (2007 US Open Hardcourts season)

it all depends on if Ana is a player who needs lots of matches going into tournies..if she does then its not enough...if she doesn't then she will be fine with just the couple matches the 2 tournies offer..plus at the US Open she'll get a fairly comfortable draw given her seeding so she should easily defend her points

Re: Nothing Hard at Hard (2007 US Open Hardcourts season)

If she played only Toronto before, i dont see how she reach now TOP4 seed at US Open, even with that Sveta's injury .

But if her knee will be OK at US Open, i will be very happy.

i hope and kinda think she can get a top 4 seed at the us open. sveta is injured and amelie is far away from her peak! serena doesnt play much either i think so her chances are pretty good (hopefully)

Amélie || Serena || Roger

Re: Nothing Hard at Hard (2007 US Open Hardcourts season)

We shouldn't be afraid if she's #4 or #5 or #10 by the US Open time... If she's to win she will win with any draw.
