Then try with this one, maybe this will show you that always can be worse

Its against my principles to watch Montreal matches after all that happened there..

I've been doing well thanks! I've been really busy past few months.. this week I had more free time, also because my favorite telenovela ended.. And that sucked also because I came back here for longer.. I should stay away more.. I'm easily irritated here lately it seems..

Re: Ana's little posse: Introduction/Off-topic thread!!!

I just finished rewatching Corazon Salvaje.. has anyone watched this one? The 1993 novela? Its SO old but I love it.. I had last watched it 10 years ago, so it was nice watching again because I couldn't remember anything.. Truly materpiece of mexican novelas.

Re: Ana's little posse: Introduction/Off-topic thread!!!

well, since there is nothing going on i might bump this thread to ask a question which probably only izzy can really reply to, though anyone in the know is welcome.

the confed cup is beginning on saturday and next year we have the world cup in brazil. so, i was trying to figure out the time zones, just to see what times i can expect the games to be on. and it's confusing. i was relieved to find out brazil is closer to gmt than any part of the us and that only manaus and cuiabá are in the more distant time zone but then some parts of brazil have the daylight saving time and they are in the southern hemisphere, so how does this work then? i want to figure out how many games will be shown after midnight cet dst during both tournaments and after my initial hope that it would be almost none it seems daylight saving time fucks so many things up. perhaps we should suspend it just for the world cup?

Hey azdaja!

Daylight savings time is over. We have regular time now, we actually get closer in time during daylight savings from october till february. Since both Confed Cup and World Cup are in june/july, its only regular time that matters. Right now its 14:12 in most cities (Brasília time), 4 hours behind London (18:12). Only North Region cities are different, like Manaus.

Check World Clock: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/

hey izzy, thanks for the quick reply

omg, i finally get what was so confusing. you dst time is basically when we have regular time and vice versa, so we always have one hour extra time difference (well, if our dsts begin and end at the same time). that definitely means it would be a huge advantage if we would abolish it for the duration of the world cup. it was introduced so we can save electricity and we would save a lot of electricity for that month if people don't need to stay up after midnight we need to start a petition in time

do you have any expectations from confed cup, btw? i must admit brazil squad don't look as impressive as you would expect, tbh, even though they are still very good.

I remember when I first visited London on holidays, there was a 2 hour time difference. January.

I don't have any expectations about Confed Cup for Brazil's squad.. we really have such a so so team.. There is so much talk about Neymar, but honestly.. he hasn't excelled playing for the national squad.. I do hope we get a better team for World Cup.. it will be such a major disappointment if the team fails during next year's WC. I swear people still cry for the loss of the 1950 WC to Uruguay.
